I USED TO BE WORKING FOR THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, I AM 50 YEARS OLD, I AM NOW A NEW CHRISTIAN BUT FROM ALL INDICATION, MY CONDITIONS IS HEALTHWISE IS REALLY DETERIORATING DUE TO A PAINFUL LONG TIME OF SUFFERING FROM CANCER OF THE LUNGS AND NOW, FROM OBVIOUS RESULTS FROM MY DOCTORS INDICATES THAT I WON'T LIVE MORE THAN 1 YEAR, ACCORDING TO MY DOCTORS, THIS IS BECAUSE THE CANCER STAGE HAS GOTTEN TO A VERY BAD STAGE OF COMATOSE...

I think that this situation requires that a probably futile gesture be done on somebody's part:*

Dear Mrs. Herman:

I received your email this morning, and while normally I immediately delete such, I do feel inclined to reply for one reason: you invoke the name of Jesus Christ in attempting to commit fraud. I must warn you against this. Perhaps you are a Muslim and have no knowledge of Jesus Christ; perhaps you are an atheist and have no fear of God. It does not matter. You are treading on very dangerous ground, and your eternal soul is in peril.

Please, please reconsider what you are doing. God has set a day in which he will judge the world through Jesus Christ. The living, the dead, you, me, everyone – we will all stand before Christ and give an account of our deeds. How much worse will that judgment be for you not because you stole and defrauded, but that you did so in the very name of the judge himself? How much worse that you lied in his name, to his own people? How terrible it will be for you that you claimed to be one of his people, but were not.

I warn you, no, I beg you, turn from this course. Turn from lies to Jesus Christ. Even now he will forgive you. Whether you are really dying of cancer is immaterial, for all of us are dying. All of us will die, some sooner, some later. And all of us will be judged. You can be forgiven today, or you can be condemned on that day. The choice is still yours, but not forever. Death comes, and then judgment.  Seek Jesus Christ today, for he is the only door to eternal life.
