I just wanted to post a picture of a Viking doing something right.
Took awhile to find a picture of that?
Dude, you have no idea. Unless you're a Vikings fan, you might not really understand the psychological damage wrought by commercials and the like. The Vikings are always getting owned. Watch for it, it's conspiratorial.
I recently* saw a commercial with Tony Dorsett walking into a bar, picking up a beer. Simple, right. But the background sound is this.
I still cry every time I see a Miller Lite. Every time.
* I don't recall exactly when, but recently enough that it still burns like phosphorous behind my eyes.
I don't know why, but I found the commercial.
Oh, it burns...
Well, at any rate this is what I always remember when I hear of or think about the Vikings, and rushing records, so buck up buttercup....
I feel your pain, Huck, but it is only temporary. Someone may and will rush for more than 296 yards. But like that Dorsett run, no one will ever return a longer missed FG than Antonio Cromartie.
Therein lies the difference.
And it just had to be against the Bears, right?
I wish I had a blog. I'd post a picture of Tillman intercepting that jump ball against Moss in the end zone years ago.
